All out items are promoted with VAT deducted from the price of the items.
We offer VAT relief on most of our items such as Mobility Scooters, Wheelchairs, and most other daily living aids. If met by the criteria below – this is known as VAT Relief. Where applicable, we will advertise our prices exclusive of VAT, if you purchase one of these items please let us know your medical condition by sending us a message or just leaving a note at checkout.
What is VAT Relief?
VAT Relief is a recognised law within the UK that allows us to sell a range of daily living aids at a lower price that excludes VAT where:
the product that has been specifically designed or adapted for your own personal or domestic use;
and the user has a disability, long-term illness or chronic medical condition.
All known chronic medical conditions are accepted, some more common conditions include; Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Emphysema, Diabetes, C.O.P.D, M.S, Heart Conditions, Oedema, Asthma, Angina, Dementia, Hip or Knee Replacement, Parkinson’s.
When you check out please just send us a short message or leave a note at check out stating the medical condition, this is for our VAT accounting purposes only and nobody will even contact you regarding this.
